JET BA-Aufsatzverglasungssystem

BA-Top-mounted glazing system

The adaptable mounting system for steel, aluminium and wood

The long-time tried and tested BA top-mounted glazing system from JET is primarily designed for flat-sloping glass roofs and façade constructions. It comprises a basic profile made of high-quality aluminium, which is fastened to a substructure by means of screws, welding or bolt kit connection. The mounting system was specially developed for a mullion-transom construction with 60 mm elevation width and is approved by the building authorities.

The substructure made of wood, aluminium or steel assumes the structural function. The maximum possible element formats are determined by the load-bearing capacity of the substructure, the glass supports, the connection between the base profile and the substructure and any glazing provisions or regulations.

In addition to numerous mechanical and building physical advantages such as the driving rain leak tightness, the resistance to wind loads as well as a very good heat transmittance coefficient (Ug) of up to 0.5 W/m2K, the BA top-mounted glazing system also impresses with its high flexibility. You can also benefit from the almost unlimited variety of variants, simple processing, any preferred installation heights and slopes as well as possible special equipment and features such as external sun protection or the utilisation as a natural smoke exhaust and/or for natural ventilation.
