The special material combination of GRILLODUR® – exclusively from JET - sets standards for daylight solutions for roofs or façades - both for use in industrial as well as municipal or public building projects. GRILLODUR® comprises at least two semitransparent fibreglass sheets mounted on an aluminium grille frame and impressively provides a multitude of advantages and absolute safety even under extremely high stress loads. Despite its low dead weight, it can withstand loads of up to 2.5kN/m2, is permanently fall-through safe in accordance with GS-BAU-18 and also has the highest classification for thrown-ball impact resistance (DIN 18032-3). Protection against hail up to 100 Joule is also certified according to the Shatter Resistance test. The very good resistance against environmental impacts results in high longevity and serviceability.
GRILLODUR® also impresses in terms of light exposure: Integrated insulation inserts ensure homogeneous illumination which is free of glare and shadows and guarantee optimum lighting conditions at all times. This increases well-being and ensures more productivity. An integrated UV protection minimises the effects of UV rays.
All solutions with GRILLODUR® are individually designed and the design possibilities with regard to colour and geometry are almost unlimited. GRILLODUR® therefore fulfils the highest demands both energetically - with UN values of glazing up to 0.8 W/m2K - as well as optically. With the appropriate accessories built in, supplementary functions can be implemented e.g. ventilation and smoke exhaust.
