JET provides functional solutions for fall-through protection systems for continuous rooflights for increased safety during assembly work and maintenance work on the roof. The continuous rooflight fall-through protection systems with permanent, collective protective effect for traffic safety on roofs are BG (German Employer´s Liability Insurance Association) tested, certified according to GS-BAU-18 (fundamental principles for testing and verifying the fall-through safety for components in construction) and comply with the relevant valid standards and regulations (e.g. DIN 4426:2017-01 ASR (Work Safety Regulation) 2.1. Workplace Guidelines, DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) Provision 38 and DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) Regulation 101-016). The legislator also prescribes the safety of daylight elements that are not structurally fail-through safe.
Depending on the design - installation in the continuous rooflight or in the flaps - the systems are implemented during continuous rooflight assembly or in the course of retrofitting. When installing below the continuous rooflight, the netting can even be partially removed early in the superstructure construction stage.
To ensure that the attractive aesthetics of your continuous rooflights continue to exist despite the fall-through protection system, our systems also impress with a particularly delicate construction and a consistently high level of protection. The daylight yield also thereby remains virtually unaffected.
Some systems not only provide effective protection against falling through, but also against hail, impact, heat and burglary. JET fall-through protection systems for continuous rooflights are truly multi-talented in many respects.
If you already have continuous rooflights on your roof, then this is also not a problem: The JET safety systems can usually be retrofitted and can also be subsequently installed and/or assembled in the course of refurbishment work.
